What's a decent gaming laptop/computer?

I'm looking to buy a decent laptop/computer for schoolwork and gaming. I want to be able to play battlefield-heroes on medium/high quality, while keeping the price range between 0-500$. I know it's a stretch, but i'm just wondering. Thanks. :)
