Can I still get bloodwork done?

I might have heart failure and pinholes in my heart and I have mitro valve prolapse. is it ok for me to still get blood work taken? is it going to affect my heart in any way??? I'm scared because there's so many things wrong with my heart I jut think that getting bloodwork Is a bad idea.
