For all the people in highschool or finished it already, what is it like?

Well, I graduated from 8th grade and it's summer break right now. In a few months, i will be a freshman and a little worried cuz i know nothing about high school and whats it like, what the ppl are like, how difficult the schoolwork is, stuff like that. By the way, I dont have anything to do over summer break, all i do is play computer and games because I dont have friends anymore. =P
