Should I buy a laptop or PS3?

I am getting my first job this summer and I used to have a PS3 (a Christmas present) but my parents say I have to work for what I have so they sold it. I am wondering whether I should buy a laptop so I can play WoW (World of Warcraft) with my friends or, if i should get a PS3 and a 32in HDTV. I can definitely afford one of them and some of my friends play WoW while others play PS3. I am wondering which i should get. With my own laptop I can play games and use it for schoolwork while with a ps3 i can play games and watch Bluray and Netflix on it.
