Dating is irrational, so why do teenagers do it?

Yes. It can Im being homeschooled for just a lil while and it messed with my lack of understanding. Your technically asking why do other people like people it's a feeling and you want to be with that person and do things with that person you usually can't do because your friends. And the more people you date the more you learn and the more experience you would have as dating as a teen because a person who dated a couple people against a person who dating no one has more experience and even may have a better relationship. The reason why people date is because as people we don't like to be alone atleast for most people
